Policies and Regulations

The Board of Education, School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes), is responsible for establishing policies, ensuring implementation and monitoring the results within the school district.

The initiation and review of new and existing policies is an ongoing process that reflects the district's operational needs and is maintained through extensive consultation with stakeholder groups such as parents, staff, students, and community members.

The following policies are currently under review:

• *NEW* Policy 100.0.1 - Role of the Board
• Policy 200.1 - Superintendent of Schools/ Chief Executive Officer
• Policy 304.6 - Selection of Learning Resources
• Policy 304.7 - Controversial Learning Resources

Public input on these policies will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026.
